Artist Statement:

This assignment was a productive and simple way to learn how to using the masking tool on Photoshop. The first time was a little bit difficult and stressful, trying to line up and mask certain parts. But after doing this a few times it became easy and kind of fun. With the first one I wanted to go with an analogous color wheel scheme, I also wanted to keep soft warm tones. For the second one I went with a triad scheme, mixing cool and neutral colors together. Lastly I used a complementary color scheme to push warm, cool, and earth tones. With this one I wanted a complete contrast of colors to really give that vibrant separation of colors.
